I want you to know that you are not alone and we all come face to face with such days—probably many times in one month.

There is always that day when you do not feel like even getting out of bed. On such days, you question everything that you believe in, you keep asking yourself if whatever you are doing or about to do is even worth it.

Your blood runs cold on such days, feeling as if there is no more energy left in you.  Nothing excites you and you begin to find thousand reasons why you should do NOTHING.  It is not bad to do NOTHING sometime but that should be by choice, not by feeling down…

Finding a reason to put yourself together during these DOWN DAYS can be difficult—-but why must you allow it to cut short the inspiration, drive and plans you have for yourself, future and the people you love?

The fact that we all face such days in life means we all have to deal with it—at least at one point in our lives. Unfortunately for me, I meet such DOWN DAYS on a regular basis and I have become a master in dealing with them.

It starts in the morning—-I wake up feeling there is no point in getting out of bed or doing anything productive. And then I begin to question why all the hustle, why I am putting myself through a lot when I will eventually die to leave every legacy behind just like those who are gone.

At this stage, I turn the negative feeling/ thought into a positive one and by this; I tap into the mind-set ‘we will all eventually die so why must I continue to suffer myself this way”.

Since we will all have to leave this life one day, why don’t I get up and go after the things that I so much want—-now that I am here, before it is too late (I tell myself).

Anytime you meet a day that you feel so down, tap into the negative feeling that is making you feel so down, and find an opposing (positive) reason why you should let go that feeling.

There is always that brighter side, you just have to look beyond the dark cloud and you will find more than enough reasons why you should get up and forge forward.

This is how I handle the FEELING DOWN days, how do you deal with it?

Knowing that you are not the only person who feels this way occasionally is in itself a helping tool to fighting it when you find yourself in there…
