Dr Akosua Ofosu-Asiedu
Dr. Akosua Ofosu-Asiedu is a medical doctor who graduated from the University of Aberdeen, UK. She is a GP trainee with a specialist interest in sports medicine and nutrition. She enjoys bringing people together and was a student leader whilst at University, founding several societies including the Aberdeen Ghana Society, Black Medical Society Aberdeen, and The Orthopaedic and Rheumatology Society, Aberdeen. She was the first president of the National Union of Ghana Students Scotland and was part of the engine room team that helped evacuate Ghanaian students from Ukraine during the COVID outbreak and the Russian-Ukraine war in 2021. She is well-traveled and loves to write on a number of topics based on both her personal and professional experiences.
