2 Reasons You Must Aim At Becoming Rich

Three weeks ago I booked an online seat and listened, for over two hours, to some rich stuff about wealth creation shared by Caleb Maddix, an eloquent 18-year-old visionary, million-dollar entrepreneur, author, international keynote speaker, and social media influencer.

He introduced us to some of his rich friends during his presentation and what they are doing to rake in millions of dollars each month. I was quite impressed and shocked at the same time about the simple things people are doing to plough in so much into their bank accounts; meanwhile the possibility of owning properties worth several millions of dollars seem to be a preserve of a select few.

It was obvious to me that the world has completely changed and the sort of things that people did to make good money in the past have been overtaken by new trends. The need to awake to the realities of this century dawned on me like never before. The path to joining the very wealthy class in the world seemed very clear and I thought we can all make it our aim to become rich. I convinced myself that the following reasons were good enough for anybody to aim at becoming rich:

1. Your Potential Is Worth More Than The Wealth You Have Acquired So Far.

Practicing Smart Living Principles can make you gain more without having to change what you do. In the course of the webinar, I learnt about easy ways to accelerate the flow of my income streams. I was ashamed to discover that although I was being fruitful in the use of my potential by writing, speaking and training, I have not applied myself effectively to executing the mandate to multiply and distribute what I produce on a global dimension.

For any application of skill or service which is monetized, it is volume, in terms of the number of customers one is able to render services to that determines how much returns one can make. So, if I write a book, I have been fruitful. If I publish the book and sell out to a thousand people, I have multiplied my fruitfulness. But the question that hit me hard as I meditated on the content of the webinar is this: Of the estimated 7.8 billion people in the world, have I truly served God’s purpose for my life if I reach out to only ten thousand people?

The other side of the coin is that there is a direct relationship between the number of people I reach out to and the amount of financial returns I can make. Zig Ziglar says, “You will get all you want in life, if you help enough other people get what they want.” Being a best author is different from being a best-selling author. So you can be a peak performer in terms of coming out with quality products but it is the quantity of needs you meet with your quality products that will eventually determine how much wealth you create. Product or service acceptability, affordability, accessibility and availability are key determinants of wealth creation.

2. You Can Do A Lot Of Good With Riches Than Without It

It is true that the love of money is the root of all evil, but lack of money also leads to evil. When good causes are adequately sponsored evil will not triumph. You can make greater impact with bigger donations than meagre ones. With Riches you can get quality health care, quality education, and help others benefit from same. The best life is lived for oneself and for others! There are so many good reason why you must aim at becoming rich and the topmost one is that the world will be a better place if riches are controlled by the hands of those with good hearts. The missionary work of the church requires a lot of financial support. Poverty can minimise the reach of the church. That is why it is important for you to take wealth creation seriously.
