No Need To Apologize, Be Your Self For The Best

We cannot totally ignore the importance of apology, especially when we’ve wronged others. It is not only courteous but also a moral and human requirement to apologize to others when you’ve stepped on their feet.

However, no one has to apologise for being truthful, for being themselves, for loving themselves and for chasing the things that bring them the ultimate fulfilment.

Instead of us worrying about what people think about us, we should gear our attention towards doing the best things that will bring us inner peace and joy.

It is hard enough to go through life each day carrying intended and unintended burden—-why then add the worry of what others may think of your rightful desire?

We cannot behave as if the opinions of others do not exist or are irrelevant in our space, but we should not be slave to these opinions. These opinions should not be the determining rock of our happiness, activities and existence…

Without being selfish, we must embrace ourselves first, consider what makes us happy first, look for a purpose in what we do first and focus on the things that will uplift our souls—that way; we can help uplift the souls of others.

Being ourselves entails living in our unique richness, with originality, truthfulness and without apologies.

To be able to do this, life must be on our terms; we must be honest to ourselves, to others and live in line with what is right, true, original and valuable.

We may need to look back occasionally to see if we’ve hurt anyone by straying off the right path but that should not be our focus.  We must take responsibility of our actions and omissions, including staying firm when it matters—as well as letting go when it doesn’t.

If we live a life based on well defined goals, integrity, respect, truthfulness and purpose with an over reaching principle of commitment, we will surely not waste much of our existence apologising to each and everyone.
