I have been blogging for over a decade and if you care to know, that’s my full time job—meaning, I make enough to pay for my expensive rent in UK, bills, car insurance and everything. I even paid for Law School with the revenue from my blogs; this is the reason why I did not […]
If your blog is up and running—and if you have started putting up some great contents, I am sure you’ve started thinking about making some money from your blog. If nothing at all, to pay for the cost of your hosting—for a start, and to also pay for your internet bills. When I started blogging, […]
One thing I hate is to visit a messed up blog. The moment I visit a blog which looks too amateur, and not well thought about in terms of design, I simply close the browser. I am not the only one who does this, everyone wants to be greeted with elegance and if you do […]
I came across an interesting piece from Stephen Hawkings today for project Unlimited, which resonates with me on so many levels—and I’ve decided to share the idea from my perspective.
Per Stephen Hawkings which I wholly agree with him, it’s time we re-evaluate our universal conception of WEALTH—which mainly focuses on possessions or cash.
He persuasively argues that if we continue in this path, the world would become more unequal, terrible and superficial. We will continue to miss the core essence and value of life, our existence and what should sit on top of our scale of preference. Read more →

One of the confusing yet easy to fix site level violations, which I recently was warned of, is what Google Adsense terms as “Previous Non-Compliance.”
This is pretty vague on the face of it, but when you read the message that comes with the warning (the place shown in red below), you are somewhat told what the problem is. Read more →
If your blog is up and running—and if you have started putting up some great contents, I am sure you’ve started thinking about making some money from your blog. If nothing at all, to pay for the cost of your hosting—for a start, and to also pay for your internet bills.
When I started blogging, my first attempt to make money from my blog was to cover the cost of my web hosting and then my internet bills. That way, I was not making a loss, and gradually, started looking for profits. This worked fine for me to the extent that, I am a full time blogger today, making full time income from blogging.
The key to making money from blogging apart from having great content and traffic, is about knowing which advertising networks to use or affiliate products to promote.
Though placing advertisement on your blog for your traffic to generate you revenue is somewhat the easiest, from my experience, affiliate marketing pays out larger than ads placement if you are just starting out. Read more →
